An outsourced team deployed the SEO strategy that I created for this site, resulting in a 1,000%+ increase in traffic.
I worked in a strategy consultant role to help Physicians Thrive grow their online footprint.
At the time I was brought on, the website did not get much traffic. After doing an audit of the site, I suggested a full website redesign and rebuild, stacked with an aggressive content production schedule.
The goal was to rebuild the site with conversions in mind, and then produce a large amount of helpful content to serve as an organic source of low-cost customer and lead acquisition.
I "quarterbacked" the project, meaning I designed the SEO strategy to help the website grow, as well as helped wireframe and conceptualize the website built.
However, a third-party outsourced team actually designed and built the website, and another team produced the content. I was not as involved as I usually am, but I did help direct and manage the team along the way.
The search engines already saw the site as an authority in the niche, so after building a new foundation and laying content on top of it, it was only a matter of time before things started working.
The project took a bit to see meaningful progress, but once it did, I was pleased with the results. In a matter of a few short years, the site experienced a 1,000% increase in traffic.
Along the way, I also helped to create and implement various campaigns (link building using HARO, additional media assets like infographics and downloadable assets, and more) that helped continually turbocharge the SEO efforts.
The site is now at a point that the domain rating and E-E-A-T is high enough that the team simply needs to continually publish content to the site to continue to see steady growth.
